Spectacular exposed root! It looks like it was grown on top of something that was removed from inside...very cool! Sometimes these can be created quickly when there are very long deep roots by burying the appropriate amount of the ends and wrapping the exposed roots in the shape that you want formed. They grow and thicken until they hold their shape in a strong structure.
