Azamara Club Cruises is that they actually have English bacon and black pudding! I don't think I've been on any other ship that caters to their UK guests so well at breakfast, and to top it all, they even have Marmite!

Azamara Club Cruises now have the Art Auction on board, brought to you by Park West from Florida. I was a bit disappointed to see the art auctions, I thought they were a bit 'old hat' and a thing of the past, and had heard rumours a while ago about the appraisal value being nothing like what you would get for a re-sell back home. Still it must be popular I guess, else they would not be on board. So today has been a day of relaxation, drinking and sitting in the sun.

The Azamara Quest was docked right near the port entrance, so we decided to head out on foot to the City of Arts and Sciences, produced by world renowned and local architect Santiago Calatrava. This area contains six futuristic-looking venues and a variety of restaurants, and is built on the dry river bed of the now diverted River Turia. http://www.theluxurycruisecompany.com

After a lovely lie in we headed up to the buffet area for a quick breakfast before heading out to Barcelona. Today we walked to the Gothic Quarter, and headed to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, also known as Barcelona Cathedral (not to be confused with La Sagrada Familia, the Gaudi built church).

We are still tied up at Castellammare, and our tour today is "A Taste of Sorrento". After boarding our bus and being introduced to our bubbly guide Matilda, we headed off. We were lucky with the weather as it was dry and the sun was trying to come out, quite mild too. We drove back to Sorrento, along the same route we took yesterday, however we stopped along the way for a "Kodak stop" as Matilda called it, high on the cliffs overlooking the bay of Sorrento.

Sorrento is located 31 miles from Naples. Perched on 500-foot cliffs overlooking the bay of Naples and Salerno, Sorrento is truly spectacular, and was a favourite destination to wealthy Romans and residence to famous artists such as Byron, Shelley, Verdi and Wagner. It is also the gateway to the Island of Capri, a magical place where white cliffs rise to cradle the old town. Pompeii is close by too, as well as the picturesque fishing village of Positano.

We found a nice place to sit around the pool grill, as the movement of the ship seemed less in this area, and so had lunch here and in fact spent the rest of the day here too!
