Glendurgan maze seen through the branches of the lovely old cedar tree which we lost in October 2013. The summer-house is being rebuilt in 2015 to a new & improved design but it'll still be just as charming.

Where it all began. The maze in the Sydney Gardens in Bath was the inspiration for Glendurgan's puzzle, planted in 1833. Sadly the Sydney Gardens maze is no longer there - but ours is. :-)
Here's our maze at Glendurgan in 1968 - much more grown in and the hedges looking a lot less slim than they do now.
