Beautiful place to visit ~ Lyme Regis is a coastal town in West Dorset, England, situated 25 miles west of Dorchester and 25 miles east of Exeter. The town lies in Lyme Bay, on the English Channel coast at the Dorset–Devon border.
The Osmington White Horse is a hill figure sculpted in 1808 into the limestone Osmington hill just north of Weymouth called the South Dorset Downs. The figure is of King George III, who regularly visited Weymouth, and made it the first resort.
This beautiful, barely-populated peninsula in the south of Skye is home to the ruins of the Iron Age hill fort Dun Ringill. Most of the peninsula is now owned by conservation charity The John Muir Trust.
