Dinosaur Theme ~ measuring foot prints add post-it to encourage children to record how big the footprint is.

Show children different animal feet, talk about size and compare their feet to dinosaur feet and to other animal feet! pulls in the use of descriptive words, gives them a bit of measurement and also teaches them. Plus, dinosaurs get everyone interested!

When the Gruffalo & friends came to school! - footprints, numeracy,  measurement, non-standard measure, creative, maths, EYFS, Gruffalo. (Just done with cardboard cut outs of the characters footprints and baby talc sprinkled around them)
