The Westerner Gelding / Purchased for just €18,000, lot 68 of the Tattersalls Ireland Derby sale - a Westerner three year old gelding, has a huge amount of quality, size and is a real athlete. He will be a chasing project for the future, but he will most probably run in a bumper at the back end of the season, as he is forward enough mentally.

Qasser / Bought from the Newmarket July sales for £9,500, Qasser is by a proper stallion in Intikhab, who can sire anything from a sprinter to a staying chaser e.g. Kempes. Qasser won on the flat on soft ground off a rating of 83 over a mile and half a furlong. As well as having plenty of scope to jump, he is strong and athletic and represents real value as he is lightly raced for a four year old, with only the eight runs.
