The memorial statue that was placed in Pere La Chaise Cemetery in remembrance of the victims of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp. It is purposely grim as to reflect the horrendous conditions at that place.

Artist, Helga Weissova-Hoskova, was imprisoned in the Thereisenstadt Ghetto of WWII. In she created this art, entitled: "Women and Children Being Sent on a Transport from the Terezin (Theresienstadt) Ghetto.
Micyslaw Koscielniak art: Already a prominent artist He was arrested in 1941 and sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp. His camp number was 15261. In the camp he drew about 300 paintings depicting the everyday life of prisoners. His work is currently displayed in the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
