“The Narrow Path to Zion”, Emily Babcock, 1843
Created by a Shaker woman, this “Gift Drawing” was a spiritual gift/channeling of information about the dangers, difficulties and obstacles one would face on the path to Zion/heaven. Very similar story to Egyptian Book of the Dead, not discovered until 1888.
Transferring consciousness at the time of death
Egyptian concept of the duat, and transition/test of each soul after dying. If consciousness has been attained, kept through the death process, and the soul can truthfully answer that it did not break the 42 laws, it would be reincarnated or evolve to the next level.
Transference of consciousness at the time of death
Phowa | འཕོ་བ | is a Vajrayana Buddhist meditation practice. It may be described as "the practice of conscious dying", "transference of consciousness at the time of death", "mindstream transference", or “enlightenment without meditation”
