Very evidently this is a perspective drawing of a swing suspended from a tree. The tree in itself is made to look like its grown into the plane of the paper , thereby leaving the paper nearly shattered. Only standard shading pencils were used for this drawing. It took a little less than 2 hours to complete this.

I was inspired to draw Atlas and the Hesperides by the book “Atlas shrugged” by Ayn Rand, but it was my dear friend Benjamin who actually gave me the idea and incentive to finish this piece of art. In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan who held up the sky. Hesperides are the nymphs that tend a blissful garden in a far western corner of the world, located near the Atlas mountains.

This is a drawing of my library at home. It showcases a few books of my collection. This being one of my first drawings where I used shading pencils, there are a few refinements that I ignored; but I love it no less. It took about 3 hours to complete; however that includes the time I spent trying out the new set of shading pencils, flaunting it’s full range from 2B all the way to 8B.

A portrait drawing of Tom Hiddleston, better known as ‘Loki’. This is done solely in standard shading pencils. Took me about half a day to complete this.

Leo is a picture that was drawn in the negative, after which I simply inverted the colours. To see the original negative drawing please click on the link or on the picture.

This is my first ever charcoal drawing. The drawing depicts only the essential features of the lady.
