Intended to be the successor of the Me 262, the Focke-Wulf Ta-183 fighter jet had only been tested in wind tunnels by the end of the war, although the plane’s basic design was developed in Argentina after 1945. Is thought that the Soviet MiG-15 was based on captured German plans, and the two planes do bear some resemblance, although Russian historians reject these theories.

The German Focke-Wulf Huckebein was a jet-powered fighter aircraft designed as the successor to the Messerschmitt and other day fighters in Luftwaffe service during World War II. Only a few proto-types were developed.

Ekranoplan Casspian The Russian Tank-Ship-Plane. Not exactly a plane but still cool. It flies just over the water because of ground effect. So it can haul a heavy load very efficiently compared to getting it up to altitude. Or floating.

This picture doesn't do this aircraft justice. I watched them do this in Afghanistan literally 15 feet off the deck at mph. I'm glad I've never been on the bad side of these things.
