Swing arms forward and back 2. Turn your head looking side to side 3. You’re going to lock your body into a straight line – like a board – glutes tight, abs pulled in, spine tall, blades pulled down. Then you will gently rock first side to side as if you were in a tube touching each side of the tube. You will then gently rock forward and backward as if you’re touching the front and back of the tube. KEYS for this movement: - SIDE TO SIDE: use your side abdominal muscles to control your momentum and stop the movement. - FRONT TO BACK: use your back muscles to stop forward movement and your abdominals to stop backward movement. - BREATHE SLOW AND STEADY This is a simple exercise that you can do anywhere (standing in line, talking on the phone, watching TV). You can practice balance training all day.
