This is a fully differentiated lesson (three versions of the powerpoint with differing language) on some of the key inventions of the Industrial revolution. The students work in pairs and groups complete a balloon debate to decide which invention had the biggest positive impact on the progress of the Industrial revolution.
Look at how homes and communities have changed in the past 100 years. The project includes a local history study, a comparison of Victorian homes and lifestyles with modern day and an insight into the period’s inventions.
