Steam and smoke combine with contré-jour lighting in this picture taken at Birmingham Snow Hill on March 22nd 1957. Clanking thro' Kings Norton (pjs,0406)
A wheezing filthy WD clanks along the slow line at Kings Norton Station in early April 1964. It will have used the Camp Hill line from Washwood Heath and certainly a banking loco would have helped in the climb from Saltley to Kings Heath.
