Weymouth's Jubilee Clock - memories of childhood holidays, sandy sandwiches and knowing mum and dad were sitting somewhere along the line between the clock and the sea!

Weymouth, a seaside town in Dorset, developed from the mid 12th century onwards, but was not noted until the 13th century.

This festive, charming little street is in the seaside town of Weymouth, Dorset, which sits on a sheltered bay of the River Wey on the English Channel coast. The Weymouth Esplanade, where you may promenade, is particularly attractive with its colourful Georgian terraces, the multi-hued Jubilee Clock, and the popular sandy beach. Weymouth is also one of the sunniest spots in the UK.
