Mikael Hellström

In the year 2006, while travelling by train, I ended up by coincidence in a small town in the Siberian part of Kazakhstan, near Russia. The people I met in this town, told me stories about difficult experiences from prison, which were either self-lived or those of close relatives. Some of these people had been incarcerated for up to twenty years, and after their release from prison, they and their relatives were struggling to adapt to normal life again http://www.mikaelhellstrom.com/
