RYOBI NATION - Entryway closet nook
The gamble paid off. Before I moved in 4 months ago I knew I wanted to remove the entry closet and replace with a nook. Project started by ripping out old doors, shelving, and rods. Then walls needed mud and painting before construction of the nook. Initially bought 1/2" MDF but opted for 3/4 plywood for the lower (shoe) shelves. For the board & batten I ripped the 3/4 plywood 2.5" wide for the vertical strips and 1x4 boards for the horizontal. Upper shelf is 1x2 "sandwiched" between two…
