Intending to boost entrepreneurial skills among the students, Akal Incubation Cell hosted an informative seminar. The Akal Incubation Cell, headed by Major General GS Lamba, Dean of Academic Affairs organizes frequent expert sessions and workshops regarding incubation. A team led by Dr. Basharul Islam, Assistant Professor at Akal Business School, effectively organized the recent seminar to build young entrepreneurs. Department of Commerce, Management, and Computer Science and Engineering students actively participated. New Students to participate in NCC Entrance Exams

NCC Department at Akal University conducted entrance exams for the newcomers under the guidance of Major General G.S. Lamba, Dean of Academic Affairs. As the new academic session began, young cadets were provided with an incredible opportunity to join NCC. The new cadets are selected through a rigorous selection process while demonstrating their potential. It was designed in two phases, and almost 200 students participated in Phase One. After the selection test, the shortlisted students were further examined by NCC Officers who joined the campus from Bathinda. Honorary personalities R.S. Kundu, P.O., P.N. The Department of Physics, Akal University organized an international webinar on "What You See Is What You Get: Compton Scattering Explores Nuclear Forces". This webinar was organized under the Physics Research Seminar Series. The Guest speaker of the webinar was Prof. Harald W. Griesshammer, George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA. 230 participants, representatives from across 15 prestigious institutions such as IITs, and IISER and from 17 universities and colleges, spanning across different states in India, attended the sessions. Akal University's Student all set to Present Invaluable Research at the International Conference

Our Research Scholar Ms. Manpreet Kaur has been selected for the 14th International Conference on Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions. The conference is scheduled in Whistler, BC, Canada, from August 18–23, 2024. She will represent her research paper entitled “Configuration Assignments of Three Quasi-Particle Quadruplets in Odd-A Nuclei.”. She has also been awarded the prestigious SERB-International Travel Support (ITS) (INR 2.5 lakhs, approx.) and Young Scientist Support (INR 50,000, approx.). The SERB Travel Grant will cover round-trip economy-class airfare via the shortest route, airport tax, visa fees, and conference registration fees.
