nazic: Ginny Grayson untitled, 2011. ink and gesso on paper. 42x 33.5 cm- image 9 of 24: Ginny Grayson's methods involve numerous corrections using eraser and gesso, and by adding paper worn thin by overworking. When closely examining the piece the direction of the mark is visible along with the incredible detail in the face that is in the distance. Which is amazing because this piece is full of large shapes that create a general idea of what should be there.

This piece gives me a very erie tone because not a lot of info is registered and when you see a tall dark figure emerging you get a sense that danger is near.
