See that? That is a quilt that I made as a sample for my LQS's new Kona club that starts next Tuesday. (They don't even know it yet.....unless, of course someone from the shop is reading this.) Made by students of 12 years old You need: white drawing sheet 21 by 29 cm pencil ruler markers glue Give students a copied print of a cube, or let them make their own. I did it with a guided instruction. Lay the sheet in front of you with the small side up. Draw a dot on top of the sheet on 7 and 14 cm. Do the same on the bottom of the sheet. 4th Grade Pop Art Style Portraits
Fourth grade artists explored the colorful cartoony world of Pop Art through exploration of Pop Art painter Roy Lichtenstein. Students used his same techniques of primary colors, comic book subject matter, text, thick black outlines, and BEN DAY DOTS to create an eye catching comic book style self-portrait!
