I am an RN but, my first love was art. During the pandemic, I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer. During this time, I relied on my art as to carry on. The name, Bluff City Bluebird Arts, represents many things; my love for everything blue, the color of my boys’ eyes, and my late mother-in-law who also shared my love for blue. She always said bluebirds are signs from those we’ve lost. For me, they portray the freedom I feel when creating. I hope my work brings joy and laughter.
