This is a portrait of a Wall crab spider (flattie, Selenopidae, Arachnida; ID: ...) from Katanga (DR Congo). These spiders are very common in buildings, both in and outside town. They are extremely flat and run sideways over walls and ceilings, hiding in narrow crevices. The chelicera and fangs are impressive; here about 3.4mm long.
