Apart from the buildings themselves my inspiration comes from everything and everybody around me. When I draw a buildings I think about what might be going on in those buildings now and in the past and in the future. Who lives there? What do they do? How do they live?
Down the Tyne 3 by Anji Allen The picture of the Bridges that I enjoyed doing most. Painted from a similar viewpoint to an earlier picture the colours are softer and there is more detail of things going on around the Bridges in this picture.
The one that brings back memories for everyone local to Jesmond/ Newcastle.
