Scott Outdoor Amphitheater, Swarthmore, PA | Designed by Philadelphia landscape architect Thomas Sears and completed in 1942, this naturalistic open-air theater was built on the west side of the Swarthmore College campus. I just picked up a vintage copy of "The First Book of Jazz" by Langston Hughes The illustrations by Cliff Roberts are incredible. The style reminds me of one of my favorite jazz album cover artists Jim Flora. I found the illustration set here.
