An image of a girl holding up a photo of the face of a Barbie doll. I love this piece as it implies that society and the media portray an image of 'the perfect and beautiful woman' and its all girls ever want to be and such importance is put upon it, however the perfect woman isn't real, it is only plastic or models have been photo-shopped etc.

I like the mixed media feel of this one and the fact that it's black and white. And also that it features a human form, which goes along with our theme of Identity.

Hopenhagen by John Clang. This would also be lovely using photo's of your child taken at different ages

I find it interesting here that the artist has used a back facing subject as although it is quite a simple subject (not too much detail), because of the colours and the way that they have used impasto has created a wonderfully eye-catching painting.
