SURSA, a female demoness guarded Lanka & obstructed anybody who would cross the ocean to Lanka. She had a curse that whoever comes before her must pass through her mouth. However, Hanuman became bigger and bigger so she also had to become even bigger. Then Shri Hanuman suddenly became very small and went in through her ear, coming out of her mouth, thus fulfilling the boon. Finally Sursa was much pleased with the intelligence of Shri Hanuman & allowed him to go to Lanka.

Kinkaras were renowned archers in Ravana’s army, skilled in the use of all kinds of weaponry. They looked like dark clouds touched by lightning.     Kinkaras assailed Shri Hanuman with maces, iron bludgeons and arrows, spears, pikes, lances, javelins. Attacked from all sides, Hanuman swept through the air, felled the rakshasas. Raining mighty blows, he stood athirst for combat. Only a few demons survived, they ran away and reported to Ravana the phenomenal happening. A mighty beast crafted for the film. Bhasakarna was an eminent warrior of Ravana. Bhasakarna attacked Shri Hanuman armed with a lance after several of his companions had perished by the superhuman strength of Shri Hanuman.
