India #66: Pink City
@ Jaipur You may have heard that the nickname for the city Jaipur is "Pink City" and it's not for no reason. The buildings in the main streets of this city were all painted pink since 1800s. This boy was cooking for a gang of beggars sitting behind him (about 50 people I think). Everyone gets a chapati and a curry dipping and they ate them on the street. aka "the Life Savers"! These stall sell bread/cheese products, at 3 pieces per Lira (1 Lira = 0,5 Euro). And they are all around the city! A real life saver when hungry!!

Arguably, India has the most photogenic people ever. Their sun battered faces, their colorful costumes, and their willingness to be photographed make them the best photography subjects. In this series, The Faces Of India, I showcase my portraits of the most photogenic people I met in India. Asked this guy for a shot while he was working, and he agreed, but he gave me that constant gaze into the camera, which is kinda funny!
