Chimera Cat Linocut Print
Following our other mini cat print, I wanted to show the process of creating this little print. This is a chimera cat, or a half-coloured face cat, where there are two genetically distinct cats in one body. The process: I use Indian ink to stain traditional battleship grey lino so there is more contrast when carving. I transfer my mini design using tracing paper, pencil (graphite), and a bone folder.
