The Olympic torch is to be taken on a cable car ride over Matlock Bath during the Derbyshire leg of its nationwide relay in the build-up to London 2012. A torchbearer will carry the flame on to the famous sky-ride at the Heights of Abraham on 29 June. The procession will arrive in Glapwell in the morning before heading to Bolsover, Calow and Chesterfield. The flame will then continue through Matlock, Darley Dale, Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne before arriving in Derby.
