New platform 4 in Reading station - part of Network Rail’s project to upgrade the station and railway in Reading. Reading is one of the busiest parts of country’s rail network and its complicated track layout constricts the number of trains that can run. Network Rail is changing the track layout and building new five platforms and two new entrances at the station to decongest the railway and improve passengers' journeys. Submitted by Eimear Fitzpatrick, Network Rail.
