The Guys at Quinton

Standing at Quinton bus garage in Birmingham are WMPTE Metro-Cammell bodied Guys MOF 65/27/85/32. For some reason (boredom?) the buses on this day were all parked neatly in ehelon fashionrather than the usual tight row that was a feature of the forecourt at Quinton. Birmingham Snow Hill

This, believe it or not, was Snow Hill station in the heart of Birmingham in September 1975. Most trains had been withdrawn in the late 60's. The final service went in 1972. Of course it then reopened (though completely rebuilt) in the late 80's and is today busy again. Difficult to believe that this huge station just lay derelict in the heart of a big city!
