STORE FRUITS/VEGGIES I have been storing some of these all wrong.How to store fruits and vegetables so they won't rot. Example - Celery: wrap it in tin foil - will stay crisp in the fridge for weeks.

Wrapping celery in foil will keep it fresh and crisp in your frig for weeks. You can get 7 wks out of broccoli and 6 out of head lettuce doing this too. Good to know! (Now all you have to do is remember what it is because you know you'll never look. ;-)  )

If you wrap your celery in tinfoil before placing it in the fridge it will last for weeks and will still be fresh and crisp when you pull it out. This also works for stored broccoli for 7 weeks wrapped in tinfoil and heads of lettuce for at least 6 weeks.

Good to know. How to store fruit and veg. NB Wash and wrap lettuce etc in kitchen roll then in a plastic box/bag in fridge. Wash and wrap celery in kitchen roll then in foil in fridge.
