Learn to play guitar by Miles Donovan. This is a vector image which has been created on Photoshop by thresholding the image and many other things. I have selected this image because I like the colours used and how they compliment each other. I have not yet created a vector portrait.
Beggar by Blek Le Rat. They have used a stencil, which was made digitally using a colour image and spray painted onto that. I have selected thiswork because I found out that Blek Le Rat was the main pioneer of stencil art and apparently inspired Banksy. I would like to create a stencil like this.
A stencil by Bernie Reid. They have used a stencil which shows a woman possibly looking up into the sky or something. She looks quite focused. The artist has manage to get of colour in the stencil. I have selected this work as it is a intriguing image which looks like it tells a story.
Metabiotica by Alexandre Orion. They have used stencil and I think that there is a old woman standing in between the wings. She looks like she is part of the stencil and is like a interactive stencil. I have selected this image because the i like the way the black and white makes the stencil stand out.
This is a t shirt design by Jonathan Tran. A stencil has been used for this, with the artist using many different colours in the image. He has used a white t-shirt (probably cotton or polyester). I have selected this work because this woman probably has a lot of things on her mind.
A Scott Williams stencil. He is a American artist. I think they used a big piece of paper and drew the stencil in.It looks like a ring of people on different levels. It has a old-school feel to it as it looks quite ancient.
Sniper In Terracotta by l.e.t., in Dusseldorf,Germany. A stencil has been used, which must have taken to cut all the detail in it. It shows a possible soldier in camouflage , and the artist may be trying to send the message that society is surrounded by violence, and it is not alien in western countries. I selected it because looked funny and very random.
A Bansky piece which I really like and it's called 'oh no... my tap's been phoned'. A stencil is most like to been used with black and white spray paint. Doesn't look to rushed and is quite clean. I choose the image because I liked the play on words by Bansky and its very amusing.
