Japanese knotweed rhizome. It spreads like crazy and forms colonies. Unless you want to use some crazy ass dangerous pesticides it takes years to erradicate by pulling it up and by mowing it down. The stuff that is used is a herbicide and it is safe and not harmful to animals and humans it can be even used on or near water.
