NYC: Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall Subway Station
The Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Subway station, opened on October 27, 1904, serves the 4-train, 5-train, and 6-train along IRT Lexington Avenue Line. It functions as the south terminus for the 6-train, which turns via the City Hall loop. Artwork includes a 1996 work by Mark Gibian titled Cable Crossing. The Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Subway station was designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1979.
