I wanted to start with the doll closet project only because in a previous post for my handmade dollhouse - I showed how I made a closet for my 12" dolls using - YES another USPS box! I suggest using wrapping paper, wall paper, scrapbook paper or contact paper to decorate your doll closet. Only because I found that paint can cause warping. Good luck! Next project - hangers!

Our most recent project has been our bathroom. We put in an oak floor. {Self-adhesive flooring -- less than $3.00 per room} The sink base is made out of little wooden drawers from JoAnn Fabric and Craft. The little sink is our favorite part of the bathroom! {It is actually a magnet holder we found in the stationary section of Target.} We used a tension rod to make the shower curtain. American Girl Doll House. Structure built by mom's co-worker and her husband ( many thanks to them!) It has been so much fun collecting and decorating over the last 3 years. The house has provided countless hours of enjoyment and it provides a wonderful storage area for all her AG stuff!

If you're handy with a saw and paint brush you can make your own custom lanai furniture for under $100. I didn't want something on my Lanai that didn't fit into the environment. There is a lot of green and foliage. I wanted something non ordinary for my lanai and found these molded frames on line.
