Old fashioned Christmas....I want to go there.
United States, 1963 Christmas issue
Issued on November 1, 1963, this second United States Christmas stamp was based on an on-the-spot painting made by artist Lily Spandorf of President John F. Kennedy lighting the National Christmas tree. The National Christmas tree and the White House are depicted. This stamp is the more common untagged variety. Scott Cat.# 1240

Vintage Snow Kids
When my Great Aunt Viola passed away I inherited a large box of vintage magazine clippings. Apparently it was a hobby of hers. I was going through them yesterday and found some that were in good shape. I don't know who the artists are, or from which magazines they came from mostly, or even the dates, but they are lovely, so I decided to post them anyhow.
I LOVE this mail box!
