RIBA MIPIM UK. The design evokes the world of architecture in the most open sense, from child’s construction play to the creation of large modular buildings. Utilising flat-packed modular units made from honeycomb cardboard that are easy to assemble in a matter of hours, the temporary installation seamlessly combines spatial concerns, sculptural texture and colour, in a joyful environment. No screws or nails have been used. Zero waste after its use!

ILLUMINATUS Light installation Benedictine monks gave enormous contribution to the diffusion of Culture in Europe, by learning and copying books. Knowledge acquired with books still enlightens the spirit of Europeans. Such inspiration informed the design that explores the relationship between “Light” and “Enlightenment”. Like stained glass windows in spiritual environments, light filtering through the colourful Perspex medium creates magical wonder, providing inspiration and illumination.

HOME SWEET HOME Like a 3d architectural drawing, it is an abstract environment built from lines and layers of light. Furnished with minimal objects defined only by their outline, this 'home' suggests the way in which our environment is addicted to electrical energy. The lines of thread crackle with energy like lasers when bathed in ultra-violet light, but they are fluffy and imperfect, therefore romantic, pulled down by gravity. photo: Carlo Draisci

HONEYCOMB CURTAIN This curtain piece was created to be a flexible and glamorous background to a tall library environment in need of an acoustic separation between two environments. NAKED Sometimes we give for granted one of greatest achievement of civilisation: running water into our homes. Its flow starts very far away .We just choose the way to manage it by acting on a sanitary fitting. The bathroom environment is an interface to nature, to a minimal idea of it, where we find ourselves facing our own body presence. This installation project revolving around the experience of water flowing into an enclosed environment. An indoor bathroom garden for a possible present!

C.R.A.P.T. (CRAFT + CRAP) In contrast to pioneering advanced technologies, these extemporaneous trans-formations play with unsophisticated media to generate a contemporary craft collection of sculptural glowing shades. The un-perfect shapes are displayed as record of a hand-made process, traces of the fact that ingenuity and expediency are still the language of human “virtue from necessity” as much as the development of new industrial technologies.
