Many high school Painting / Fine Art students worry that their sketchbooks must be wild, gestural explorations, with layers of media exploding from each page. I like the way this drawing looks like a continuous line, whilst remaining realistic. I like the way the artist has used bold expressive lines to show the tone on the face, rather than blending the ink.
