16th March Rock face by Chrissie Abbott, Designer & illustrator, London I wanted to take the concept of structures, particularly how natural structures from the beginning of time have been carved and eroded by the elements to create new shapes, patterns and borders that are made without human interference. #gif #15folds #rainbow #waterfall
12th March CASTING Alex Noble, Visual artist and Designer, London In responce to Margot’s piece I thought about my own search for suitable subjects to draw and paint from magazines, and how so many become part of an editorial landscape. It is the emotion of a face that captures me and this made me think about the lack of ‘the face’, and strength without the emotion - but I couldnt resist and an eye full of narrative fought it’s way through. #gif #15folds #pink #braid
27th March Untitled (talisman) by Gordon Magnin, Visual Artist, Reno, Nevada In response to Miron’s gif, I was drawn to the the formal linear symmetry and fluid animation which is a constant exploration in my own work, however my comment on the spiritual nature of making lies more within the investigation of alchemy and black magic, an undoing.
18th March Yoshi Falls by Sean Frank, Film Maker, London I wanted to create the experience of plunging down a waterfall, taking inspirations from computer games aesthetics. Chrissie spoke of the natural beauty created without human interference so I decided to look at forms of unnatural beauty created purely by technology and glitches. #gif #15folds
29th March Things We Say By Ruth Saxelby, Writer, London How much we communicate without words and our relentless exchange of many layered signals is what I took from Gordon’s gif. I’d like to say that the form of my response was some kind of commentary on the everyday but in truth a camera phone and fridge magnets are about as high-tech as I get. The essence of it, though, is something I wonder about a lot.
26th March 111 By MiRon, Visual artist, Kiev, Ukraine According to the last gif I wanted to create the heart of natural spirit. Figurative representation of animalistic power resurgent in digital world.
Coloured Cuboids by Vector Meldrew, Motion Graphics Designer, London I wanted to create the technical representation of a splash combined with inspiration taking from sacred geometrical patterns, something which is theorised to lay at the heart of all natural beauty. #gif #15folds
14th March MUGAs By Joseph Bond, Artist, London The idea of a ‘lack of face’, or physical plane, lead me to consider physical frameworks and subsequently those that are also social. Brought together, the frameworks of multi-use games areas become typographic. As such, variations in their design, the chubbiness of their steelwork and powder-coated colouring lends each its own distinct character and formal associations. #gif #15folds #basketball #hoop #sport
10th March Edited By Margot Bowman, Artist & Designer, London There are a lot of people in my drawings, sometimes they dont work. And thats sort of my decision, whats a good face, whats a bad face. Sometimes you feel a bit bad for the ones that dont make the cut. #gif #15folds #sketches #stickmen #pencil #faces
8th March ABORT by Toto Vivian, musician, Splassh, London Decision can be tough or they can be easy……. #gif #15folds #surfing #surfboard #wave #beach #sea

1st March you’re all clear, kid By Reed + Rader, Multi-Media Artists, New York Trench Run http://15folds.com/post/44286539719/youre-all-clear-kid-by-reed-rader #gif #15folds
4th March By James Dawe, London, Illustrator and Image Maker I wanted to follow instruction from the previous gif, and therefore created a character based on indecision. Yes Man, No Man’s head nods; up, down, left right as typographically instructed. The 3D aspect helps portray this robotic rocking motion (like the face’s decisions are being controlled). And suggests the depth of torment that indecision can bring. #gif #15folds
