Nowadays, basketball is Spain’s leader sport in women participation, with more than 142.000 Federation Licences in 2012. According to CSD (Spain’s Sport Governing Council), basketball has become Spain’s number one sport, with a continued growth and leadership, since the last 12 years. In fact, according to FIBA, Spain is the second country with more basketball player, just behind USA.
