It has been raining the last couple of days. To some people this fact would be depressing. For some reason rain is something that communicates depressing and sad things. I just can't seem to figure out why..... I mean think about it, rain is water right? And plants need water to grow green and healthy right? And we need green and healthy plants to make us healthy right? And when we are helthy we are very happy right? You see the connection right? Proof of God's grand design! I love rain…

With the autumn blues slowly creeping in, the wet weather rolls in yet again. It starts as a whispering in the air, hiding the bright sun behind a curtain of dark clouds looming in the sky. Sometimes it blows like a gentle shower, inspiring you to curl up in a cozy blanket with a hot beverage and a good book. Other times, it falls in big fat drops, leaving you spellbound as a thunderstorm pummels outside the window.

Nature isn’t passive, it’s neither rushed nor aimless. It has vibrancy, resiliency and purpose. It is home to many who rely on its seasons and cycles. It is home to us too and has so much to share if we just stop and take the time to understand what it can teach us.
