Have you heard of polyhydramnios? It's a condition where there is too much amniotic fluid in the uterus during pregnancy, and usually occurs in the second half of pregnancy, but can occur as early as 16 weeks into pregnancy. Polyhydramnios, while not common, (it only affect 1% of pregnancies) can bring challenges such as abdominal discomfort, difficulty breathing, and even preterm labor in an extreme case.
