The bar is a goldmine for retro artwork featuring musicians that have played at the arena, and striking neon signs – the neon’s change the colour of the interior and create a different atmosphere for guests. A hyper-realistic faux planting wall in the main dining space is defined with another neon, ‘The Green Room’. The area has plenty of comfortable seating, making it an enticing location to congregate, linger, and return.

A two-metre-high Murano glass chandelier casts its warm glow over patrons at London cocktail bar Smokey Kudu, secreted beneath the railway arches in Peckham. The chandelier is the crowning touch of the intimate bar – the latest addition to Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams’s cache of South African dining spots.
