John Franklin Bolt (19 May 1921 – 8 Sept. 2004), US Marine Corps (USMC) First Lt. John F. Bolt, Marine Fighter Squadron 214 (VMF-214) "Black Sheep" taken at Vella La Vella, Dec. 5, 1943 as he stands in front of a USMC F4U Corsair.  He is an Ace Pilot credited with 6 kills.  Bolt continued his service through the Korean War,  flying F-86 Sabres he had additional 6 kills with a total of 12 aerial kills.
