Jampay Dorje, also known as Ben Christian, has a mission in life. Dividing his time between retreat, teaching digital art, and creating Thangkas for Buddhist practitioners, he has become well known on the internet for his spectacular images.

The image is a painting of Buddha sitting on a lotus flower. He is surrounded by a halo and is making a mudra with his hands. The painting is done in a traditional Chinese style and has a lot of detail. The colors are vibrant and the lines are fluid. The painting is very peaceful and serene.

The Dharampalas, or defenders of Buddhism, are divinities with the rank of Bodhisattva, and are supposed to wage war without any mercy against the demons and enemies of Buddhism.
