If you're building a house, you'll probably have the option of doing upgrades or might even run into a few problems here and there. I know for us, our biggest challenge was requesting changes during the construction process! Luckily our builder was so great about everything, but hindsight is 20/20 and now that we've finished our first new construction home, I'm sharing some tips I learned during that whole time with you.
