When it came time to find out the gender of our baby I was unsure how I wanted to do it. If I wanted to just open the envelope with Adam and I or have people over to watch my reaction. In the end, we went with a small gender reveal party with just family.
Gender reveal painting! I mixed blue and pink paint and gave it to my friend with the gender in a sealed envelope. She put the (watered down) paint in black spray painted water guns. We had a canvas with an elephant shape taped off, sitting in a kiddie pool to protect from paint splashes. Hubby and I shot our guns first. It's a boy!!! Then the rest of the party joined in to cover the canvas with paint. The kids loved it!
