“Colours are beautiful, different and unique in their own right. Not one shade is the same. Each colour holds special vibratory and spiritual qualities — just like people," says Sasha Sarago, a subject in my exhibition, The Coloured Girls.

Two women are working to reclaim beauty for the Black woman through their self-love campaign, "The Colored Girl Project." In their freshman campaign class, ten models were selected to celebrate and showcase the different aspects of beauty as it pertains to the Black woman. The results are the perfect combination of Black Girl Magic and Queendom all wrapped up in one!
