The artistic style known as dadaism was born in response to World War I. Its output was radically broad, including anything from performance art to poetry, photography, sculpture, painting, and collage. It was influenced by other avant-garde groups like Cubism, Futurism, Constructivism, and Expressionism. Raoul Hausman and Hana Hoch are two of the best DADA artists. They were influential because of their original approach to collages and art.
