Francisco Maia on Instagram: "The BEST Vertical settings for the DJI Avata 2 👇

Shoot 4k 4:3 - this format allows extra room for vertical cropping, ensuring you dont as much quality when you crop in 🎬

D-Log M - Gives more room for color correcton in Post, a well graded shot can make everything look cleaner and more professional 🙌

EIS Turned off- Always use Gyroflow to stabilize my footage ⚡️

Frame rate - 60fps is best as the 4k 100fps feature doesn’t allow for 4:3 shooting 🙏

These are the settings I always use for my vertical DJI Avata 2 shots, I hope they help 💫

Gab Scanu | Travel • Photography on Instagram: "Save these settings for high quality drone reels

Over the years I’ve tried and tested countless settings to achieve the highest quality drone footage. Recently these have been giving me the best results 🎥

Shoot in 4K or above
H.265 Codec
30 fps for instagram or 24fps for cinematic look
Shutter speed double your frame rate so 1/60 for 30fps
ISO (100-200)
ND filters (especially during the day)
Shoot in D-Log or D-cine to preserve details when grading
Turn on frame guides and exposure peaking

The above settings will also depend on your drone model and software but experiment as closely as you can and you’ll see a huge difference in quality.

If you’re interested in achieving a similar look in your own footage comment “LUT” 🎥 and I’ll send y Drone Model, Drone Footage, Shutter Speed, Over The Years, Travel Photography, Software, Log, Turn Ons, Frame

The faster the shutter the less motion blur you will have and the less natural the shot will be. 📹

Gab Scanu | Travel • Photography on Instagram: "Save these cinematic drone moves 🎥

These are three of my favourite drone moves to make my footage look more cinematic 👇🏻

1. Pullback/Reveal - A pullback shot starts close to the subject and gradually moves away, revealing the surroundings and providing context. This helps viewers understand the scale and environment of the subject. This works great for revealing epic or vast locations.

2. Upward Spiral - perfect for top down shots of subjects like people, cars or even buildings. It can be used to emphasize the importance of a subject by continuously centering it while revealing more of the surroundings.

3. Slow Orbit - this shot keeps the subject in the center of the frame while slowly circling around it, emphasizing the subject’s sign Upward Spiral, Top Down, My Favourite, Subjects, Travel Photography, It Works, Cars, Frame, Photography

Flatland is a project created by the Turkish photographer Aydın Büyüktaş. These images resemble scenes from the hit movie Inception, where the city seamlessly curves upward into the sky. Each image takes months of planning, and because of the complex scenery, Aydin must constantly reshoot locations in order to get the perfect alignment. Before a shoot even begins, Büyüktaş
